For the past three weeks I’ve been working on a piece about rowing in my hometown, Fort Bragg, California. Last Saturday and this past Thursday I was lucky enough to GO aboard a lifeboat powered by humans at the oar – 8 of them to be exact. I was the passenger and photographer.
The photographs, videos, interviews, research and practical experience are for a short article to be published in print locally. A longer piece and better video will be posted on my blog, MaryGo. I threw together this quick teaser because I just had to share some images from both trips.
I saw so much culture, beauty and wildlife. I experienced the serenity of a river cove and the power of Mother Pacific. Best part, it was free and it can be for you as well. I’ll explain how in my print and blog posts. I’ll also tell you about the hard working folks that give so much of their time to share the adventure of traditional small craft. Meanwhile, enjoy the teaser.
Please watch for the yet unnamed piece – any suggestions for a title?
