— OLD SMITH RANCH PRESERVE — If you are lucky enough to live in Mendocino, County, California, then you most likely know about the Mendocino Land Trust.

The Land Trust is a part of our community. Locals are working to save our fragile coast, inland valleys, and deplenishing farmland.

I wish I could express my admiration for my fellow citizens. They offer their time, money, and sore muscles to protect our coast and inland geological treasures.

The Mendocino Land Trust is saving it for you. Here is one of my favorite trails – Old Smith Ranch Preserve.
